Terms of Use for the Internal Guest Wi-Fi for Passengers
Use of the Wi-Fi service is subject to prior acceptance of these Terms of Use. By logging in, the user agrees to all provisions.
The service is provided within the scope of the respective technical and operational capabilities. There is no entitlement to availability, specific local coverage, quality, or transmission speed of the Wi-Fi service.
The transportation service provider reserves the right to restrict, interrupt, or discontinue the Wi-Fi service in whole or in part at any time without prior notice, particularly during maintenance work or in the event of misuse.
The Wi-Fi service provided is a publicly accessible, unencrypted internet connection.
Please be advised that transmitted data may be intercepted or viewed by third parties under certain circumstances; the network service provider does not perform any content or security checks (e.g., for viruses, malware, or other harmful software), and no guarantee is provided regarding the security of data transmission.
Use of the service is therefore at your own risk.
Users are personally responsible for protecting their devices as well as the data stored and transmitted on them.
It is strongly recommended that you:
– use up-to-date antivirus software and enable a firewall,
– perform regular software and security updates,
– do not transmit sensitive or personal data over unencrypted connections,
– use additional security measures such as VPN connections or SSL/HTTPS encryption,
– disable automatic connections to unknown networks.
The transportation service provider assumes no liability for damages resulting from inadequate safety precautions on the part of the user.
Use of the Wi-Fi service is permitted exclusively within the scope of applicable legal provisions.
Users agree, in particular, to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, not to infringe upon the rights of third parties, and not to engage in any actions that compromise the security or functionality of the network.
In particular, the following uses are expressly prohibited:
– accessing, distributing, or storing pornographic, racist, violence-glorifying, or otherwise illegal content,
– endangering public order, safety, or morality; insulting, harassing, or threatening other persons,
– the distribution of spam, chain letters, or other unsolicited messages,
– the distribution of viruses, Trojans, or other malware,
– the spying on or interception of other users’ data,
– any form of cyberattack or attempt at manipulation (e.g., hacking, port scanning),
– the use of the Wi-Fi network to set up personal networks or to operate server services,
– the modification of network configurations (e.g., DNS manipulation),
– soliciting the disclosure of sensitive data (e.g., passwords).
– The unauthorized transfer, download, streaming, or other use of copyrighted content (music, movies, etc.) without the appropriate authorization.
Since this is a shared service, excessive or abusive use of bandwidth is prohibited (FAIR USE).
The use of data-intensive applications (e.g., continuous video streaming, online gaming, server operation) is prohibited.
The use of Internet access for analyses or attacks on publicly accessible clients or servers is strictly prohibited.
In the event of violations of these Terms of Use or suspected misuse, the network service provider reserves the right to temporarily or permanently block access for individual devices, block certain services or ports, or take other appropriate measures to ensure proper operation.
The network service provider makes no guarantee regarding the availability, quality, or security of the Wi-Fi service, and assumes no liability for interruptions or disruptions in the connection, data loss, or damage to end devices, unauthorized access to transmitted data, or damages resulting from the use or unavailability of the service.
The transportation service provider makes no guarantee that the services offered will be accessible at all times or without interruption, or that the desired connections can always be established or maintained. To the extent permitted by law, liability for damages of any kind—including consequential damages to third parties and damages arising from third-party claims—is excluded in all cases.
The user is personally liable for all actions taken in connection with the use of the Wi-Fi service.
To ensure operation, for error analysis, and to detect misuse, technical data may be stored, processed, retained, and evaluated, in particular IP addresses, MAC addresses, data volumes transmitted, times of use, and technical device information.
This data may be disclosed to the competent authorities if necessary – in particular in cases of suspected criminal activity.
